Amanda Hopkins, Owner of Design Studio2010 is responsible for design and project management. The native Texan at the age of 15, started design school through dual enrollment class while in high school and transfered to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After graduation, Amanda began her career at a Los Angeles-based firm, where she contributed to unique projects including a Pre-Academy Awards party. She returned to Austin to work for a custom cabinetry company, establishing relationships with custom home builders and becoming an expert in millwork construction. Amanda then moved to work for an interior design firm in Austin that focused on residential and commercial design. She specialized in custom soft good detailing, including draperies, bedding, pillows and upholstery furnishing.
