Designer Profile

I began my career over 15 years ago when I graduated with my degree in interior design. I incorporate the professional design process and design principles but I know when and I'm not afraid to break the rules a bit to achieve a unique outcome that caters to my client's personal wants and needs. I like to think of myself as a facilitator who helps my client obtain their own personal design aesthetic with regard to form and function.

Key elements of the design process include well-planned spaces and properly selected finishes and materials, including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, furniture and fixtures. Color and texture are used in unique and interesting ways in every design and are enhanced with correct lighting plans. Furniture, art, accessories and window treatments are all added to create a completely comfortable and visually appealing living space.

Living abroad and studying many different cultures has given me the ability to design for all types of clients. My projects range from English Country and Mediterranean styles to Neo-classic and Contemporary, depending on my client's tastes and the environment in which they feel comfortable. For me, the client is key!
