Designer Profile
Pam Kelley, Dallas Interior Designer, is the Principal of Pam Kelley & Associates. An independent interior designer for almost 40 years, Pam Kelley has achieved an extensive and impressive client list, requiring her to travel throughout the United States and Europe for research, purchasing and installations.
Pam Kelley’s ability to capture the essence of her clients and how they desire to present themselves has contributed to her long-lasting relationships. Her innate knack for color and technique coupled with her interior design education has earned her a reputation in the interior design community as a true expert in color and its technical applications. She intuitively knows how a fabric sample will translate when applied to an eight-foot sofa and how a color paint chip will actually appear in full application, reflecting differently at various times throughout the day and throughout the year. She can then communicate this knowledge effectively and efficiently with craftspeople, enabling a cohesive team experience for each project.
Pam Kelley is as business savvy as she is design savvy. She delivers full computer job costing and pays all of her own invoices, reviewing and approving each for payment. Her business acumen enables her to have her hands on the pulse of the business at all times. Orders are placed on time, received on schedule and paid at the correct price. Her smart project management skills produce a track-able budget so that the client is always kept advised of the budget.
Pam Kelley is licensed by the State Board of Architectural examiners and is a member of the following organizations: American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.), Texas Association of Interior Designers (T.A.I.D.), Park Cities Historical Society, Nasher Sculpture Center and The Dallas Museum of Art.
She is an accomplished community leader in education and healthcare in Dallas and has held positions on numerous nonprofit boards of directors including The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where she raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for this important charity as well as the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Kimbell Museum, Dallas Museum of Art and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
