Designer Profile
Aesthetic…Innovative…Functional…Detailed Design beyond the Status Quo
Kathy Adcock-Smith, ASID, owner of Adcock-Smith Design, is a Registered Interior Designer whose creative work has earned numerous awards and honors. Her uncommon interiors are highly aesthetic, yet functional, encompassing innovative and detailed ideas. Kathy’s design career began when she studied at North Texas State University where she earned the Earl Herring Scholarship for Outstanding Interior Designer and graduated cum laude with a BFA Degree in Interior Design.
Believing that utilizing universal design and green/sustainable practices will enrich both the lives of her clients and will help preserve the future of our planet, Kathy spends much time researching and studying these important practices and trends. This information flows easily into her projects. Additionally, Kathy's careful attention to scale, rich material selection and color balance along with good lighting bring each project "to life".
Kathy’s work covers the spectrum of complete residential renovations, including kitchen and bath design, high rise condos, new residences, and corporate offices. Each project is carefully crafted to suit the needs, lifestyles and desires of each client, resulting in meticulously scaled and detailed interiors that are a delight to experience and a joy in which to live and work.
