John Phifer Marrs is one of the premier designers in the South and is known for an elegant and inviting style that magazines call "The New Southern Style". His interiors reflect his Southern roots and combine a sense of the past with a fresh new look.
John's education includes post-graduate studies in the U.S. as well as in the European Program of the Parsons School of Design in both Paris and Rome. He is an accredited Interior Designer, and has successfully completed the NCIDQ examination and is a registered Interior Designer in the state of Texas.
John's studio has grown to a staff of several designers, and their projects include not only some of the finest homes in Dallas and Fort Worth, but also residences throughout the United States, Central America and Europe.

John Phifer Marrs Interiors is a full service design studio specializing in residential and corporate design throughout the United States. The studio also features a charming retail shop.
John and his staff of award winning designers strive to make the design experience truly enjoyable. The designers are sensitive to their clients' needs and design each house as a uniquely beautiful home which is not only functional but personalized. In addition to John Phifer Marrs, the staff consists of two accredited designers, two degreed project managers, design support staff and retail support staff.

Many of his projects have been published in shelter magazines such as Architectural Digest, Southern Accents, Better Homes and Gardens, DHome, Traditional Home, Antiques, Beautiful Homes, and others. John has been on the DHome Best Designer list every year since the list was created. He was awarded a first place in the 2010 A.S.I.D. Legacy of Design Awards competition for historic preservation.
