Wendy specializes in interior design, interior architecture as well as performing as a general contractor for over 20 years. Her design focus has been on creating elegant interiors both in residential and corporate design. Creating what the client has ‘imagined’ something she has a knack for succeeding in. Throughout her career her work has been published in a variety of Design / Coffee Table Books' and Magazines. HGTV has featured the interior design talents of WENDY RICHENS on many of their assorted programs.
Wendy works at including both the husband and wife's special requests, keeping them engaged as a couple on their project. She also works as a liaison between the client and the vendors and subcontractors. This keeps communication clear and focused by everyone involved in the project.
Her approach to design has evolved with time and the times themselves. With the elimination of design exclusivity and it now being available to the public at large, design choices have become accessible to everyone, creating many more options for self-expression. This is an exciting evolution in the industry and one that RICHENS DESIGNS embraces.
