Candidate Statement
Professional development is an ongoing process of growth that distinguishes the professional interior designer from the decorator. It ranges from mentoring students in professionalism through the Student Symposium, providing education opportunities for designers at all levels of experience and providing opportunities for top designers to show their work through events like Legacy of Design and local Design Celebrations. It is my goal to build upon and expand the already excellent foundation of these endeavors established by current and past chair persons.
