If you login to ASID.org, then you will also gain access to the Magazine Subscription Discounts page, which includes such print publications as Interior Design and Metropolis.
Design Competitions
Winning a design competition is a wonderful marketing tool that can produce an incredible return on investment, but you’ve got to “play” to win. The following is a list of competitions sponsored in some part by ASID. If there is also a Student competition component, it will be noted. Students, please access the Student Scholarships & Competitions page for information on both Texas Chapter and National ASID student design competitions. NOTE: For non-ASID sponsored design competitions, visit our exclusive Media Opportunities page (password protected).

Social Networking
In 2008, ASID launched ASID Connex, an exciting new member service that lets members network anywhere, anytime. Similar to LinkedIn and Facebook, it is a private online community, but exclusive to ASID members. What can you do in Connex?
- Identify members with similar practices and interests.
- Set up interest groups to share information and discuss common issues.
- Get help from other members by tapping their knowledge and experience.
Connex is also convenient for keeping up with news and announcements about ASID offerings and events. Log in to www.asidconnex.org with the same username and password that you use to login to www.asid.org.
In addition to ASID Connex, be sure to become a part of the ASID Texas Chapter Facebook page and the following ASID social networking pages: Facebook (Page), LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Vimeo. These are an easy way to stay connected to the industry, learn more about marketing you and your business, network with potential employers and collaborators…the list goes on and on.
