Designer Profile
I am a senior at the University of North Texas and am pursuing Interior Design as a second career after 14 years in healthcare supply chain and IT consulting. I balance this education along with my responsibilities to my family, marathon training, and volunteer activities.
During my classes, I have developed a passion for green and sustainable design that drove me to become a LEED Green Associate. I also recently taught myself Revit and received exceptional reviews for my last project using it. Additionally, I have special interests in 3D rendering and modeling as I have a technology background and found I have a talent for this area. I also have a significant interest in health care design that stems from my previous work experience.
This past summer, I interned at idGROUP in Dallas, and I look forward to bringing emerging, sustainable design principles into commercial spaces in my new career.
